Terms of Service
The fine print matters. We've kept our terms as clear and concise as we keep our writing advice.
Effective Date: January 1, 2024
Workshop Agreement
When you sign up for a workshop at Anchor & Quill Workshops, you're entering a community of storytellers. This isn't just a class; it's a collaborative space. Have you ever wondered how we maintain such a high-quality environment for beginners?
By registering, you agree to these guidelines. We believe in transparency. Our workshops are designed for educational purposes, and while we provide expert manuscript feedback, we don't guarantee publication or commercial success. We're here to build your skills.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Life happens. If you need to withdraw from a workshop, please notify us as soon as possible. We offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 14 days before the start date. For notifications within 7 to 13 days, you'll receive a 50% credit toward a future workshop. We're sorry, but we cannot offer refunds for late-stage cancellations.
Code of Conduct
Respect is our non-negotiable metric. Whether in person in Brooklyn or online, we expect participants to provide constructive, kind feedback. Harassment or discriminatory behavior will result in immediate removal from the course without a refund. We're serious about protecting our creative atmosphere.
Intellectual Property
You retain 100% ownership of your work. We claim no rights to the stories you share during our sessions.
Privacy Policy
We never sell your data. Your manuscripts and personal details are handled with the highest level of discretion. Your secrets are safe in our inkwell.
